These terms govern your use of Sanad, an iOS application published by Mathieu Gaillac. Installing or using the app means you accept them.
What the app is
Sanad presents the morning and evening adhkar with their Arabic text, transliteration, English translation and a reference for each. It lets you count a session, including from your Lock Screen, and keeps a record of the days you completed.
What is free, and what is paid
Free: one complete guided morning or evening session per local day, three essential library adhkar, Today's Remembrance and your current streak. The available texts include their Arabic, meaning, transliteration, source and, where available, authenticity grade.
Sanad Premium: unlimited morning and evening sessions, the complete searchable library, individual counters, unlimited favourites, separate morning and evening reminders, seven-day practice history, sharing for Today's Remembrance, all Home and Lock Screen widgets, and interactive session counting from the iPhone Lock Screen through a Live Activity.
Subscription, price and renewal
Weekly, monthly and yearly subscriptions unlock the same complete Premium bundle. Prices vary by territory. The exact local price and billing period shown by Apple in the app before you confirm are the terms that apply to your purchase. There is no free trial: a subscription is charged from the start.
If you reinstall Sanad or use another eligible device with the same Apple Account, use Restore purchases in Profile → Subscription to restore an active entitlement.
Payment and refunds
All payments are handled by Apple. We do not process, see or store payment details. Refunds are granted by Apple under its own policy; requests go through reportaproblem.apple.com, not through us.
About the content
The adhkar are drawn from the Qur'an and from the recognised hadith collections, and each carries its reference and its grade. Where a long passage is divided into phrases, that division is an editorial judgement about where a reciter naturally pauses; it is a reading aid and carries no ruling. The app is a tool for remembrance, not a source of religious rulings, and it does not replace a qualified scholar. If you find an error in a text, a translation or an attribution, please write to us — corrections are the one kind of message we most want to receive.
Acceptable use
You may use the app for your own personal remembrance. You may not resell it, copy its content into another product, or attempt to circumvent the subscription.
No warranty, and limits
The app is provided as is. We do our best to keep it accurate and working, but we cannot guarantee it will be free of errors or always available. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Apple
Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support for the app. The standard Apple licence terms (EULA) apply in addition to these, and prevail where the two conflict.
Changes and governing law
These terms may change; the date at the top changes with them, and continued use after a change means acceptance. They are governed by French law.
