Privacy Policy

The short version. Sanad has no accounts, no sign-in and no ads. Your adhkar, streak, favourites, reminders and practice history stay on your device. Subscriptions are handled by Apple and RevenueCat. TikTok advertising attribution is optional and remains off unless you confirm that you are 18 or older and then allow tracking in Apple's system prompt. TikTok never receives your adhkar or practice history. Details are below.

What stays on your device

Everything you do in the app is stored locally, in an app group container shared between Sanad and its widgets. That includes:

your progress through a session, and which set you are on;
your streak and the days you completed;
your favourites;
your reminder times and whether reminders are on;
the name you optionally entered during onboarding.

None of this practice data is transmitted anywhere. There is no Sanad server for that data and no way for us to read it. You can remove it from your device by deleting the app.

Subscriptions

If you subscribe, the purchase is made through Apple. We never see your payment details, your card, or your Apple Account.

To know whether your subscription is active — including on a second device, or after you reinstall — the app uses RevenueCat, a subscription management service. RevenueCat receives:

a randomly generated app user identifier, which Sanad does not link to your name, email or Apple Account;
transaction and entitlement information supplied through Apple, such as the product, purchase date, renewal state and subscription status;
limited app, device and network information needed to provide and protect the service, such as app version, device type, operating-system version, IP address and storefront or country information.

RevenueCat processes this information to validate purchases, keep entitlements in sync, prevent fraud and provide subscription support. Sanad does not use it for advertising.

Optional TikTok advertising attribution

Version 1.1 includes TikTok's App Events SDK so we can measure whether an advertisement on TikTok led to an install or subscription. The SDK is not initialized and sends nothing unless you first confirm that you are 18 or older and then choose “Allow” in Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. Refusing either optional step does not restrict any feature of Sanad.

If you allow tracking, TikTok may receive:

Apple's advertising identifier and device identifiers used by the SDK;
standard device and network information, including device model, operating-system version, locale, user agent and IP address;
limited SDK performance and diagnostic metadata used to maintain reliability and prevent fraud;
generic Install, Launch, day-two retention and onboarding-complete events;
generic paywall-view and checkout events; and
after a verified purchase only, the subscription product identifier, local price, currency and transaction identifier.

TikTok uses this information for advertising attribution, campaign measurement, analytics, audience creation and fraud prevention. Sanad disables TikTok's automatic event and StoreKit observers, Enhanced Data Postback, automatic screen/button collection and remote screenshot collection. Sanad does not use TikTok's identify API. We never send TikTok your optional name, any dhikr text, which set you use, progress, counts, streak, favourites, reminder times, email or phone number. Restored, failed, cancelled and pending purchases are not reported as purchases. TikTok may derive an approximate region from the network IP address; Sanad never asks iOS for location permission.

You can change your permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. TikTok's own privacy information is available at TikTok's Privacy Policy.

Notifications

Reminders are local notifications scheduled by your own device. They are not push notifications, nothing is sent from a server, and we do not know whether you opened one.

What we do not do

No ads inside Sanad.
No TikTok transmission before an 18-or-older confirmation and ATT permission.
No sale of personal information.
No account or sign-in.
No location permission. Sanad never asks iOS for precise or approximate location.

Children

Sanad's remembrance features remain available regardless of age. TikTok attribution is separately restricted to people who affirm that they are 18 or older; otherwise the TikTok SDK is never initialized. If we learn that advertising data from a child was sent, we will stop processing it and work with TikTok to delete it.

Your rights

Your practice data is on your phone and under your control: delete the app and it is gone. Apple controls your App Store purchase record. For the subscription record held by RevenueCat, advertising data processed by TikTok, or any privacy question, write to reskype.contact@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. We may need your anonymous app user identifier to locate a RevenueCat record.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and any change that affects what leaves your device will be announced in the app before it takes effect.
